After much reflection and more than a little prodding, we've finally decided to move ahead with our plan to launch a company website. After all, that’s exactly what the internet needs, right? Another website. These days everyone and his dog has a website, so why not us; the real issue was how do we make something a little different, yet still have it serve the purpose of a traditional human resources oriented site. So for now we'll take it one step at a time – consider it a work in progress. In any case, we had to tear down the construction tape and put away the orange cones sooner or later, lest they become a permanent fixture.
All in all, we hope that the site will be of use to people who need assistance in finding that elusive ‘perfect job’, or even their first job if that’s the case. We also want to provide guidance to the smaller companies, and perhaps big ones also, that may not have the HR expertise they need on site. And maybe, eventually, we want the website to be a place where people can interact and find a sense of familiarity and support. Perhaps even provide a means for them to simply ‘vent’ – much like you might find in your typical Human Resources department, if you even have an HR department.
